Flow
turbines for hydraulics and oils

|
|
The RE4 range of
flow turbines are designed specifically for the
hydraulics market. Working on the well proven
turbine principle, the flow of liquid acts against
the angled surfaces of a set of precision turbine
blades causing them to rotate. The movement of the
tip of each blade is detected by a sensor located
in the body of the meter. This is then converted in
to a pulsed signal, the frequency of which is
proportional to the flow rate through the meter.
The RE4 series
turbines have long internal flow straighteners on
both the inlet and outlet sides of the meter
resulting in an exceptionally accurate and reliable
reading. The RE4 series is also equipped as
standard with test points for pressure and
temperature sensors enabling all three major
parameters to be monitored from one small compact
unit.
A high pressure
rating of 400 bar and temperature rating of
120°C make this unit perfect for the
hydraulics industry. Available in 4 sizes from 1
L/min up to 600 L/min, ensures there is a unit to
meet your requirements.
A full range of
electronic data loggers and panel mounted displays
are available to accompany the RE4 turbines, please
have a look at the "Instrumentation" section of the
website.

Stainless
Steel turbines for water and chemicals
The 316
stainless steel range of flow turbines are suitable for
almost any clean low to medium viscosity fluid.
Working on the well proven turbine principle, the flow of
liquid acts against the angled surfaces of a set of
precision
turbine blades causing them to rotate. The movement of the
tip of each blade is detected by a sensor located in the
body of the meter. This is then converted in to a pulsed
signal, the frequency of which is proportional to the flow
rate
through the meter.
A high pressure
rating of up to 400 bar and temperature rating of 110°C
make this unit perfect for many industries.
Available in 12 sizes from 1 L/min up to 9000 L/min, and
with screwed or flanged connections, ensures there is a
unit to meet your requirements. A millivolt sinewave,
amplified squarewave or 4-20mA analogue signal is
available.
There is also a choice of a head mounted LCD rate /
totaliser. Accuracy is ±0.5% of reading and each
turbine is supplied
with its own calibration certificate.
A full range of
electronic data loggers and panel mounted displays are
available to accompany these turbines,
please have a look at the "Instrumentation"
section of the website.

SUBSEA
Flow turbines
The This 316
Stainless Steel range of flow turbines are designed
specifically for the sub-sea engineering market.
Working on the well proven turbine principle, the flow of

Available for
use on flow rates from 1 L/min up to 9000 L/min and suitable
for use at depths of up to 4000 meters,
these meters are manufactured with your choice of flanged
connection. The output signal is available as either an
amplified
square wave pulse or 2 wire 4-20mA analogue signal. The
signal convertors are fully potted and sealed and can be
fitted
with either a flying lead or a Seacon sub sea connector.
Each turbine is supplied with its own individual calibration
certificate.
A full range of
electronic data loggers and panel mounted displays are
available to accompany these turbines,
